Tariff Wars 2025
Welcome to Tariff Wars 2025, a retro-cyberpunk strategy sim where you’re the last line of defense against economic ruin. The year is 2025, and America’s under siege. Jobs stolen, wealth drained, trade deals bleeding us dry. You’ve got 420 days until the midterms to turn it around. Tariffs are your weapon. Markets are your battlefield. Victory is non-negotiable.
How to Play:
- Start Strong: Hit 'CLICK TO TRADE' and dive into the terminal. Skip the story if you’re ready to fight.
- Set Tariffs: Select a country from the list (like CHINA or CANADA), then click 'SET TARIFF'. Raise, lower, or match their rates. Watch the SPY (stock market) and inflation react. High tariffs hit hard but risk retaliation.
- Negotiate: When the 'NEGOTIATE' button blinks, seize the chance. Accept deals to ease tensions or retaliate with your own rates. Green rows (0% tariffs) are wins, stack ‘em up.
- Simulate Days: Click 'SIMULATE' to fast-forward time. Markets shift, countries counter, and the clock ticks down. Balance chaos and control.
- Fed Moves: Use 'FED CUT' or 'FED RAISE' to tweak rates (starts at 4.5%). Cuts boost SPY but spike inflation; raises cool things down...at a cost.
- Metrics Matter: Track DAYS (420 to 0), SPY (aim > 525), INFLATION (< 3%), and FED RATE (< 4.5% for a win). Recession odds loom if you falter.
- Endgame: At 0 days, it’s judgment time. SPY > 550, Fed Rate < 3%, Inflation ≤ 2%? Landslide victory. SPY > 525, Fed Rate ≤ 4.5%, Inflation ≤ 3%? Narrow win. Anything less? Crash and burn.
Every move echoes across the globe. Will you make America rich again? Or will you hand it over to the opposition? Boot up the terminal and find out. No saves. No mercy. Just trade.
